Jodi A. (Meadows) Catania, 37, died Sunday, December 30 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton, after suffering complications from a fall. She was the beloved wife of William L. Catania, Jr. Born in Stoughton, she was a longtime resident of Stoughton and was a graduate of Stoughton Schools. Jodi worked as a paramedic for Cataldo Ambulance for over one year and also worked for Medflight. Previously, she worked as a dispatcher for Stoughton Fire Department and Norwell Fire Department. She also was a volunteer paramedic for Easton Youth Football games. She was a member of the Lady Outlaws Semi Pro Cheerleaders. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her family .
In addition to her husband, Jodi is survived by her children, Logan J. Hurley and Mia E. Hurley both of Easton and her stepdaughter Nicole M. Catania. She was the daughter of Karen (Hansen) Meadows of Stoughton and the late Albert "Skip" Meadows. Jodi was the sister of Heather J. Meadows of Stoughton and Nicole J. Rhuda and her husband Shawn of NH. She is also survived by her grandmother Gloria (Macchi) Hansen of Stoughton and her nieces Olivia Marchand and Corrin Rhuda.
Funeral prayers will be offered in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Saturday, January 5 at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Friday from 4-8 PM. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton. Donations in Jodi's Memory may be made to the Jodi Meadows Catania Family Fund at any TD Bank.
