Joan S. Blye

Joan S. (Irwin) Blye, 77, a longtime resident of Brockton, died at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Monday, June 22, 2015. She was the wife of the late Donald A. Blye, Sr. Born and raised in Stoughton, she has resided in Brockton for the past 50 years. Mrs. Blye was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, crafts, trips to casinos and her cat, Simon.
Joan is survived by her children, Donald A. Blye, Jr., Cynthia A. Voci and Mary E. McLaughlin all of Brockton, Linda C. Roza of Taunton and Kenneth D. Blye of Somerville. She was the sister of Janet Anshewitz of Mashpee, Judith Irwin of North Carolina and Donald Irwin of Maine. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday from 5-8 PM. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton.
