Jetta E. (Rosenwald) Sommer, 100, died Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at the Copley at Stoughton Nursing Home in Stoughton. She was the wife of the late Charles F. Sommer. Born and raised in Boston, she was a graduate of Jamaica Plain High School. She worked as a waitress at several Boston restaurants, including Durgin Park for over 20 years, Anthony's Pier 4, and Luigi's. She retired at age 84. In her free time, she enjoyed her work, Thoroughbred Racing and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Schifone of Stoughton and her grandchildren, Susan Schifone, Charles Schifone and Jetta Schifone all of Stoughton, and Michael Schifone of Brockton. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren.
