Jeenie W. (Smith) Heeley

Leaving a legacy of love, Jeenie W. (Smith) Heeley died on June 28th, 2016 at West Acres Nursing Home in Brockton after a period of failing health. Cherished mother of Carolyn McKenna and her husband Frank of Easton and Paula O'Flanagan and her wife Kelli of Brockton. Adored grandmother of Jenna Pellerin and her husband Steven and Jason Caffelle and his wife Dawn. Loving Gram of Amanda Grazioso and her husband Paul, Melissa Peffer and her husband Jonathan and Frankie McKenna. Devoted great grandmother of Addison, Callen, Damian, Declan, Elizabeth, Peter and Ada. Grandma Jeenie also leaves behind Tyler & Corey Springhetti.

Born July 17th 1936; and raised in Boston, Jeenie lived most of her life in Brockton. She was a bookkeeper and office manager for Capeway Foods, Del Manor Nursing Home and Capeway Farms until she retired to care for her husband John Heeley, who pre-deceased her. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Stoughton serving on the Vestry, Alter Guild, Outreach, Centennial and Capitol Improvement Committees. Jeenie's happiest times were those spent with family. Generous in spirit, kind in nature, an earth angel who is now heaven's angel. "Remember Me as Loving You."
