Jean M. Stadelmann

Jean M. (Anderson) Stadelmann, 82, died Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at the Norwood Hospital in Norwood after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late George R. Stadelmann. Born in Brockton, she was raised and educated in Brockton and was a graduate of Brockton Schools. She was also a graduate of the Chandler School for Women. She was a resident of Wareham for the past 45 years and previously lived in Avon from 1959-1971. She worked in the Guidance Department at Wareham High School for over 20 years, retiring in 1993. After her retirement, she worked at Little Marion Golf Club as the Clubhouse Manager for over 10 years. In her free time, she enjoyed sports, golfing, traveling, and gardening. She was a devoted and beloved grandmother to her 13 grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Deborah A. Hess and her husband Carl of Sharon, Paul D. Stadelmann and his wife Magda of Stoughton, Lee Ann Stadelmann and her longtime companion Bud Cleveland of VA, Brenda M. Dircksen and her husband David of ME, Larry M. Stadelmann and his wife Danielle of Natick and Kim M. DeGrace and her husband Richard of Middleboro. She was the beloved grandmother of Matthew Hess, Eric Stadelmann and his wife Courtney, Jessica, Ryan, Gina, Caitlyn, Brittany and Jaclyn Stadelmann, Peter and Allison Bennoch, Madison and Taylor Buss and Sean DeGrace. She was the great grandmother of Madison Hess. She was the sister of the late Robert and Richard Anderson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Saturday, February 21 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church at 10:30 AM.
