Jean M. (Sullivan) Melito

Jean M. (Sullivan) Melito, 78, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 7, at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton, after being stricken ill at her home. She was the beloved wife of over 60 years of Peter J. Melito, Sr. Born and raised in Brookline, she was a resident of Stoughton for over 45 years. Mrs. Melito worked as a bookkeeper for McKesson Liquors and for Martignetti Liquors for many years. She retired over 15 years ago. In her free time, Mrs. Melito enjoyed watching all sports, especially baseball, and loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Vincent "Mickey" Melito and his wife Rose of Attleboro, Jean Paciocco and her husband Wayne of Mashpee and Peter J. Melito Jr. of Stoughton. She was the sister of Eileen Flynn of Northboro and was predeceased by 7 brothers and 2 sisters. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Saturday, August 11 at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Friday from 5-8 PM. Donations in Jean's memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.
