Janice M. (Cotter) Schifone

Janice M. (Cotter ) Schifone, a lifelong resident of Stoughton, passed away following a lengthy hospitalization for a chronic illness on Saturday, January 28, 2012. Mrs. Schifone is survived by her husband Charles F. Schifone of Stoughton and her loving children, Alexander Cotter, Christine Schifone, Jetta Schifone, and James Schifone who all live locally. She was also a sister to James P. Cotter and Daniel J. Cotter.

Born on September 21, 1961 in Stoughton, Massachusetts, Janice was a daughter to Mary T. Cotter and the late James "Keith" Cotter. She attended Stoughton Public Schools and was a 1979 Graduate of Stoughton High School. Mrs. Cotter was employed for many years at Springdale Convenience Store. Janice's children and family were everything to her. She was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. She will be missed by all who had the opportunity to know her.
