Janet F. (MacIsaac) Rossi, 86, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died at Braemoor Rehab. & Nursing Center in Brockton on Saturday, April 28. She was the wife of the late Robert W. Rossi. Born in Jamaica Plain, she was a graduated of Roslindale High School, Class of 1942. Mrs. Rossi was a resident of Stoughton for 30 years after living in Roslindale for many years. She was a homemaker and also worked for the Veteran's Administration for many years before starting her family.
Mrs. Rossi is survived by her children, Robert A. Rossi of Brockton, Christine A. Lane and her husband Shaun of Raynham, William A. Rossi of Japan and Lisa J. Rossi of FL. She was the grandmother of Abigale Rossi, Kyle, Mia and Fiona Lane, Sophie and Emme Landry and the late Connor Lane. She was the sister of Joseph MacIsaac and his wife Eleanor of Milton, Rev. Charles MacIsaac of NJ, and the late Archie, Hugh, Florence and Robert MacIsaac and Mary Friel. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Friday at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday from 5-8 PM. Interment will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery, W. Roxbury.
