Janet M. Murphy Daly

Janet Marie Murphy-Daly, 55, a longtime resident of Brockton and Raynham, died peacefully at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, on Friday, November 11, 2016. Born in Brockton, she graduated from Brockton High School Class of 1979. She worked as an office manager for Ambassador Pools in Norwood for several years. Janet loved to cook. She also enjoyed going to the beach, being outdoors and spending time with her family and friends.

Janet is survived by her daughter Jena Daly of Boston. She is survived also by her partner Dennis Lazaron and her step children Kyle, Allyson and Zachary. She was the daughter of the late Charles Murphy and Marie (Gosse) Murphy. Janet was the sister of Maryellen Geoghan, Charles Murphy, James Murphy and Marie Courteau. She was the aunt of Brianna King, Luke Murphy, Alex Rosati, Christopher Courteau and Heather Courteau. Janet was the dear friend of Sue Nocon and the late Pattie Poulin. Janet was also survived by her first "grandchild" Remington and her other fur babies Harley and Shiloh.

Visiting hours will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday, November 17 from 4-8 PM. Funeral Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Janet's memory may be made to the MSPCA, 350 South Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02130, www.mspca.org or to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O.
