Janet M. (McLea) DiGangi, 87, a resident of Randolph, died at South Shore Hospital on Tuesday, October 12. She was the wife of the late Adolph J. "Al" DiGangi. Born in Randolph she was educated in Randolph schools and graduated from Stoughton High School, Class of 1939. She was a resident of Randolph since 2004 after living in Berkley for 4 years, Abington for 16 years and Stoughton for 40 years. Mrs. DiGangi was a factory worker for Draper Mills in Canton and Norton and Tobe Deutchman in Canton for many years before retiring several years ago. She was a member of the Senior Citizens in Abington as well as the United Church of Christ in Abington. She was an avid Bingo player and a fan of the New England Patriots.
Mrs. DiGangi is survived by her children, Richard M. "Butch" DiGangi of Easton, Ronald B. DiGangi of Braintree, Debbie J. Hurley of Brockton and Gina M. Assad of Hanover. She was the sister of the late James McLea, Richard McLea, Isabelle Nilson, Doris Worthington and Robert McLea. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and her two sisters-in-law Roberta McLea and Julia McLea.
Funeral Service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Saturday, October 16 at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Friday 5-8 PM. Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton.
