Janet Ruth (Anderson) Bryan

Janet Ruth (Anderson) Bryan, 58, a resident of Avon, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, October 5 after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was the wife of William J. Bryan. Daughter of the late Robert T. and Marjorie V. (Hoeg) Anderson, she was born in Brockton and raised in Avon. Janet was a graduate of Avon High School, Class of 1975. She was an administrative assistant at Xtralis in Avon for 1 year after working for Giltspur of Boston in Avon for 18 years. She was an avid beach goer and enjoyed traveling with her husband.

In addition to her husband, Janet was the sister of Marjorie Kushner of Easton, Karen Borgeson of Stoughton and the late Robert E. Anderson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday, October 11 at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Monday from 2-5 PM. Interment will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Donations in Janet's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
