Jane F. Sandler, 75, died Saturday, April 8, at the Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston after a period of failing health. Born in Boston, she was educated in Boston Schools and a graduate of Jeremiah E. Burke High School in Boston. She was a resident of Norwood for over 50 years, before moving to Stoughton. Ms. Sandler worked at John Hancock Insurance in Boston in the Mailroom for 35 years, retiring 20 years ago.
She is survived by her siblings Charles Sandler of Stoughton and Virginia Farrell of W. Bridgewater, formerly of Stoughton. She was the sister of the late Evelyn Laraia, Barbara Sandler, Dorothy Dacey and Richard Sandler. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday, April 13 at 11 AM. Visiting Hours Wednesday from 5-8 PM. Donations in Jane's name may be made to Joslin Diabetes Clinic, 1 Joslin Pl., Boston, 02215. Burial will follow at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
