Jane M. (Peach) Ryan, 77, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Monday, June 9, 2014. She was the wife of the late Gerard F. Ryan. Born in Boston, she was educated in Allston schools and graduated from St. Columbkille High School, Class of 1955. She was a resident of Stoughton for 46 years. Mrs. Ryan was a homemaker and a nurse's aide at Blue Hills Convalescent Home in Stoughton for 15 years. She enjoyed baking, traveling, gardening, trips to Foxwoods and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Ryan is survived by her children, Kevin G. Ryan and his wife Laurinda of Bridgewater, Michael J. Ryan and his wife Melinda of Easton, John P. Ryan of Fairhaven, Kerry A. Blanchard and her husband Timothy of Bridgewater and Deirdre M. Ryan of Brockton. She was the sister of Stanley Peach of Wilmington, James Peach of Quincy, Richard Peach of Newton and the late Dorothy Duffy. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Saturday, June 14 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Friday from 4-8 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jane's memory may be sent to the Pan Mass Challenge, 77 Fourth Ave., Needham, MA 02494.
