James W. Robichau

James W. Robichau, 77, died Thursday, January 13, 2011, at the Morton Hospital in Taunton after a period of failing health. He was the husband of 55 years of Retha (Johnston) Robichau. Born in Stoughton, he was raised and educated in Stoughton and was a graduate of Stoughton Schools, Class of 1951. He was a resident of Taunton for several years, previously living in West Gardiner, ME. He was a Veteran of the US Navy. Mr. Robichau worked as a Production Control Manager for Raytheon in Waltham for over 25 years, retiring over 17 years ago. He was a former member of the VFW Post 1645 in Stoughton. An avid Bruins fan, in his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his family and his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children; James D. and his wife Kerrie, Charles W. and his wife Kathleen all of Middleboro, Lewis S. and his wife Cecilia of ME and Susanne Eliasen and her husband Chris of Taunton. He was the brother of Anne Doser of FL and the late Florence Waal. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Wednesday, January 19 at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday 4-8 PM. Burial will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
