James Sebastiano Noe, 83, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died unexpectedly on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at the Norwood Hospital in Norwood. He was the husband of 58 years of Lucille G. (Visconti) Noe. Born in Boston, he was raised and educated in Boston and was a graduate of Louis D. Brandies High School, Class of 1950. Mr. Noe was a resident of Stoughton for over 40 years. He was a Proud Veteran of the US Army during the Korean Conflict. During the Vietnam War, he traveled to Washington DC to march in Peace rallys. Mr. Noe worked as a Letter Carrier for the US Post Office in Stoughton for many years, retiring in 2001. He was a talented and dedicated photographer, often seen with his camera at town and civic events as well as at family functions. He was a member of the Amvets and Council on Aging in Stoughton and a former volunteer at the Old Colony Hospice. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Frank J. Noe of Wrentham, Ann M. Rynne and her husband Frederick of Watertown and Donna C. O'Rourke of Plymouth. He was the brother of Angelo Noe of Malden, Josephine Patina of Revere, Santo Noe of Winthrop and the late Guisseppe Noe, Carmello Noe, Vincent Noe, Frank Noe and Anna Foster. He is also survived by his three grandchildren of Mandy Noe, Savanna Noe and Ashley O'Rourke and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday, November 12, at 9:15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Monday from 4-8 PM. Burial will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton. Donations in Jimmy's memory in lieu of flowers may be made to the Old Colony Hospice, 1 Credit Union Way, Randolph, 02368.
