James G. Hackett, Jr., of Sharon, formerly of West Roxbury, age 82, July 23.
Beloved brother of Dorothy M. Larkin of Stoughton and Catherine Gureghian of FL and the late William Hackett, Emily Doran and Franklin Hackett. Dear uncle of Ellen and Kevin Coyne of Stoughton, loving great uncle and best buddy to Colin James Lama and Riley James Coyne. Jim was also survived by many dear nieces and nephews.
Mr. Hackett was a member of the U.S. Army and served during the Korean War.
In lieu of flowers donations in Jim's name may be made to MSPCA, 350 South Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA 02130.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday, July 26 at 10AM. Visiting Hours omitted. Burial will be private
