James D. Robichau

James D. Robichau, a resident of Taunton, previously of Stoughton and Middleboro, age 68, passed away at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on March 21, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Kerrie (Hanna) Robichau for 44 loving years. Born in Stoughton, he was the son of the late James Robichau and Retha (Johnston) Robichau, and was raised and educated in Stoughton, graduating Class of 1973. He then went on to earn his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Massachusetts. Jim loved to watch football and hockey, experiment with cooking new recipes – and made a ‘mean’ coffee cake, spending time with close friends, and above all was a devoted family man to his children and grandkids. He will be greatly missed.

In addition to his dear wife Kerrie, Jim is survived by his children Sarah Lynn Kostas and her husband Paul of Carver, and James Robert Robichau of Taunton. He was the ‘Grampa’ to Dexter and Liliana Kostas, and leaves behind his siblings Charles Robichau, Lewis Robichau and his wife Ceil, and Susanne Eliasen, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park Street (Rt. 27), Stoughton, on Wednesday March 26th from 9-11 AM, followed by a Graveside Service at St. Joseph’s Cemetery 475 East Britannia Street, Taunton, MA 02780.
