James J. “Jim” Crowley, age 82, passed away at Brockton Hospital on February 5, 2023. Born in Stoughton, he was the son of the late Mary A. (Fitzpatrick) and James E. Crowley, and was a lifetime resident of Stoughton. He was the devoted husband to his wife Eileen A. (Mahoney) Crowley for 58 loving years. He attended St. Mary’s Grade School, was a graduate of Coyle School in Taunton, Class of 1958, and received an Associate’s Degree in Business from Stonehill College. He worked as a production line manager at The Foxboro Company for over 30 years before retiring. He was a Navy Veteran and was proud of serving on the crash crew along side the Strike Fighter Squadron 14 (VFA-14) "Tophatters" on the Franklin D. Roosevelt carrier. He loved walking his grand-dog Frankie, doing yardwork and taking care of his home, enjoyed going to the movies and was an avid reader of non-fiction, especially anything WWII related.
In addition to his dear wife, Jim is survived by his children Maura Crowley of Stoughton and Erin Crowley-Kelly and her husband John also of Stoughton and nieces and nephews throughout the Boston area. He was predeceased by his sisters Helen Barron and Anne Calcaterra.
Funeral Services were private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3 Speen St, Framingham, MA 01701.
