James A. Clark, 74, a lifelong resident of Stoughton, died unexpectedly at home on Monday, September 30, 2019. Born in Rochester, NY, he was the son of the late E. LeRoy and Betty F. (Parsons) Clark. Jim was a graduate of Stoughton High School, Class of 1962. He earned his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Dubuque in Iowa, Class of 1968 and his Master's Degree from Boston College, Class of 1978. He taught English at Stoughton High School for 35 years before becoming a Professor at Massasoit Community College for the past 15 years. He coached Varsity Boys Tennis at Stoughton High School for 12 years.
Jim was the brother of the late Susan E. Swett and the uncle of Karolyn E. Chaput of Inverness, FL.
Funeral Prayers will be offered from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rte. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday, October 8 at 10 AM. Visiting Hours omitted. Interment will be private.
