James "Jim" Adams left us peacefully on Friday, December 19, 2014 after a stroke that caused more damage than his body could overcome. He was born in Stoughton, Massachusetts to Alexander and Nellie Adams in 1952, the 5th of 6 children. He is now having a joyous reunion with his Mom & Dad.
He is survived by his loving son, Matthew Adams, granddaughter, Giana Marie and former wife Karen Adams, all of Stoughton. He was the brother of Carol Ann Beard and her husband CL, Thomas Adams and his wife Barbara and Patricia Sim, all of AZ, Robertta Lynch and her husband Joseph of Fitchburg and Alexander "Buddy" Adams and his wife Joyce of Holliston, and many cousins, nieces, nephews and many, many, friends.
He always had a heart for those in need and placed little value on material possessions. If you needed it, he gave it to you. He was a welder by trade and spent the 1st half of his life in Massachusetts and the 2nd half in Arizona. He felt most at home in his numerous treks in the desert.
Funeral Prayers will be offered in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday, December 29 at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are invited.
