Jacqueline M. (Daley) Sloan, 75, died at the New England Sinai Hospital in Stoughton on Wednesday, September 3 after a lengthy battle with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. She was the wife of the late Paul V. Sloan. Born in Jamaica Plain, she was educated in Roslindale schools and was a graduate of Boston Clerical School. She was a resident of Rehoboth since 1998, living with her daughter, Deborah, after living in Sharon, Stoughton, Avon and Taunton. Mrs. Sloan was administrative secretary at the O'Donnell Middle School and Stoughton Junior High School for many years before retiring in 1997. She was a member of the Pulmonary Rehab. Group at Sturdy Memorial Hospital for several years. She was also a member of the Stoughton Schools Secretary's Association. In her free time she enjoyed playing Bingo with her dear friend Patricia Desmond, reading, playing cribbage at the Rehoboth Senior Center, crocheting and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Sloan is survived by her children, Bernard V. Cullen III and his wife Debbie of FL, Linda I. Nobil of Stoughton, Deborah A. Pires and her husband Henry Pires Jr. of Rehoboth and John S. Cullen and his wife Heather of N. Attleboro. She was the grandmother of Jeremiah Ellis, Michael K. Nobil, Andrea J. Pires, Laura C. Pires, Kristina L. Pires, Kaitlyn E. Cullen and Keigan D. Cullen.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Saturday, September 6 at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Friday 4-8 PM. Burial will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton. Donations in Jacqueline's name may be made to Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program at Sturdy Memorial Hospital, 211 Park St., Attleboro, MA 02703.
