Jacqueline M. (Lurtsema) MacLennan, 78, a resident of Raynham, died at Brockton Hospital on Friday, April 22 after a lengthy illness. Born and educated in Boston, she was a resident of Randolph for 30 years before living in Raynham for the past 15 years. Jacqueline was a medical assistant at Harvard Vanguard in Braintree for 12 years before retiring 18 years ago. She enjoyed lunch with the "Golden Girls," as well as crafts, puzzles, reading, hugs and especially spending time with her family.
Ms. MacLennan is survived by her children, Kathleen Kourafas and Dori Saunders both of Stoughton, Herbert F. Schulze of Middleboro, Paula MacLennan and Michelle MacLennan both of Wareham and Paul J. MacLennan of AZ. She was the sister of Lorraine Nordlinger of NH, David Lurtsema of AZ and the late Robert J. Lurtsema. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visiting Hours will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Monday, April 25 from 4-8 PM. A Graveside Service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, Washington St., Stoughton on Friday, April 29 at 11:15 AM.
