Iris T. (Corvi) D'Agostino, 93, died at the Falmouth Hospital on Wednesday, June 6 after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Rosario F. D'Agostino. Born in Boston, she attended East Boston High School. She was a resident of Brockton from 1959-1989 before moving to Falmouth where she has lived since. Mrs. D'Agostino was a clerk in the Women's Fashion Dept. at Sears & Roebuck in Brockton for many years before retiring at age 65. Before that she worked at Jordan Marsh in Boston for many years before moving to Brockton and also worked for Submarine Signal Company during World War II. In her free time she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Mrs. D'Agostino is survived by her son, Ronald F. D'Agostino and his wife Anita of Norton. She was the grandmother of George R. D'Agostino of Taunton, Mark S. D'Agostino of Brockton and the late Erica L. D'Agostino and great-grandmother of Mick A. and Shane D'Agostino. She was the sister of Evano Corvi of FL and the late Emma Corvi, Spartico Corvi and Libero Corvi.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday, June 12 at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Brockton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Monday 5-8 PM. Burial will take place at Melrose Cemetery in Brockton.
