Idanette Christophe, 90, passed away Monday, November 30, 2020 at her home in Stoughton after a period of declining health. Born, raised and educated in Jeremie, Haiti. She was a longtime resident of Haiti before coming to the United States in 1995. She settled in Stoughton. She worked as a Nanny for many years, both in Stoughton and in Haiti, for many years. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Angela's Church in Mattapan. In her free time, she enjoyed braiding bracelets, needlework, cooking and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Ms. Christophe is survived by her children, Guerda Fevrier of Cambridge, Carline Fevrier of Lynn and Judith Fevrier and her husband Mathurin Honore of Stoughton. She was the grandmother of Sherley Fevrier, Mary Cathleen Fevrier, Marthulie Honore, Jeffrey Honore, Martine Honore, Carl Hererd Felix and Magdarlene Joachin. She was the sister of Madeleine Christophe of Randolph and Fortune Christophe of Haiti. She is also survived by the Fevrier, Honore, Redon, Christophe Jean and Jerome Families.
Visiting Hours will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rte. 27) Stoughton on Monday from 9-11 AM. Due to Covid 19 restrictions, a Private Funeral Mass will be celebrated. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
