Hugh J. McSheffrey

Hugh J. McSheffrey, 50, died Sunday, August 5, 2012 at his home after a long illness. He was the son of the late Henry and Margaret (McCole) McSheffrey. Born in Dorchester, he was raised in Neponset and graduated from high school in Chicago, where he lived for several years. Mr. McSheffrey lived in Stoughton for the past 8 years, previously living in Florida. He worked in construction for many years and also worked for Reebok in Stoughton. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, hiking the Blue Hills and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his son, John Barton of Roslindale and his siblings, Mary Murphy Freller, Margaret Rampino, Kathleen Ricottelli, Michael McSheffrey, Patrick McSheffrey, Annie McSheffrey, Sheila Lieneman and Rose Klumak. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
