Henry F. Bindbeutel, 85, died at home in Stoughton on Tuesday, December 18 after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Rose C. (Brauneis) Bindbeutel. Born in Boston, he was a graduate of Hyde Park High School. He was a resident of Stoughton for 60 years. Mr. Bindbeutel was a Staff Sergeant with the U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II. He was a school teacher at Hyde Park High School for over 20 years before retiring in 1981. He was a member of both the Amvets Post 1977 and the VFW Post 1645 in Stoughton. In his free time he enjoyed carpentry, fishing and camping.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Bindbeutel is survived by his children, Henry F. Bindbeutel, Jr. and Roseanne M. Bindbeutel both of ME, Karen L. Thomas of E. Bridgewater, John M. Bindbeutel of Pembroke and Christine Aufiero of Watertown. He was the brother of the late Selma Yanco and Elvira Krueger. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
