Helen L. (Schuman) Noren

Helen L. (Schuman) Noren, 98, died Saturday, December 30, 2017, at the Copley at Stoughton Nursing Home in Stoughton. She was the wife of the late Roy A. Noren. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was raised and educated in Brooklyn and moved to Braintree in her 20's. She was a resident of Braintree for many years. She was a longtime employee for Gas Consumers in Braintree and retired many years ago. Helen was active at the Braintree Senior Center and taught exercise classes there for several years. In her free time, she enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with friends and family.

Mrs. Noren is survived by her friend and daughter-in-law Effie Noren of Stoughton and her granddaughters; Laura J. Soussan of NH and Valerie Cook of Middleton. She was predeceased by her step-son William Noren. Mrs. Noren was the great grandmother of Victoria Johnson, Andrew Kourafas, Douglas Clark and Janelle Millburg. She is also survived by 9 great great grandchildren.

Funeral Prayers will be offered in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27), Stoughton on Wednesday, January 3, 2017 at 6 PM. Visiting Hours prior to the prayers from 4-6 PM. Donations in her memory may be made to the Stoughton Lions Club, POB 566, Stoughton, 02072.
