Helen A. (Walsh) McShane, 84, died at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston on Friday, June 15 after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Paul C. McShane. Born in Boston, she was educated in Brookline schools. Mrs. McShane was a resident of Brockton since 1980 after living in Brighton for 30 years. She was a housewife at home with her family.
Mrs. McShane is survived by her children, Carol A. McShane-Ferriero and her husband Thomas of Needham, Paul M. McShane and his wife Amy of Norton and Jeanne F. McShane-Waller and her husband Jay of Weymouth, as well as her grandchildren, John Paul, Jennifer and Joseph Waller and Nicole Ferriero. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her siblings, Edward Walsh, Joseph Walsh and Evelyn Sullo. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday, June 18 at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Christ the King Church, Brockton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Sunday 2-5 PM. Burial will take place at the VA National Cemetery in Bourne.
