Helen J. McCormack

Helen J. (Casey) McCormack, 87, a longtime resident of South Easton, died on Wednesday, December 15 at the Life Care Center of West Bridgewater. She was the wife of the late John James McCormack. Born in Tewksbury, she was a resident of Sharon for 27 years before moving to South Easton 28 years ago. Mrs. McCormack was a librarian at Heights Elementary School in Sharon for 28 years before working as a medical librarian at the Massachusetts Hospital School in Canton for over 5 years. She retired in 2007. In her free time she enjoyed reading, gardening and spending time with her family.
Mrs. McCormack was the mother of Judith E. Mariuz of CA, Jeanne M. Smith of NY, John J. McCormack, Jr. of Stoughton, Ellen Poirier of TX, Kathleen Connolly of Falmouth, Daniel J. McCormack of Plainville and the late Thomas M. McCormack. She was the grandmother of Robert, Laura, Ryan, Jenna, David, Sean, Megan and Artur. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Saturday, December 18 at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Sharon at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Friday 4-7 PM. Burial will take place at Rock Ridge Cemetery in Sharon. Donations in Helen's name may be made to Mass. Hospital School, 3 Randolph St., Canton, MA 02021.
