Helen J. (Balint) Kowalsky, 77, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died Sunday, June 4 at her home under the care of Old Colony Hospice. She was the beloved wife of Robert A. Kowalsky. Born in Columbus, NJ, she was a graduate of Bordentown, NJ Schools. Mrs. Kowalsky was a resident of Stoughton since 1961. She was the former co-owner, with her husband, of the Country Pub in Stoughton. In her free time she enjoyed camping, boating and gardening.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two sons, R. A. Kowalsky Jr. of Stoughton and Raymond A. Kowalsky and his wife Diane S. of CO. She was the sister of Joseph Balint of NJ and the late Lydia Cubberly and Julie Becker.
Funeral Prayers will be offered in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday, June 8 at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Wednesday 4-8 PM. Donations in Helen's name may be made to the Jimmy Fund, 1 Harvard St., Brookline MA 02146-9795. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton.
