Helen G. (Swirnialis) Enck

Helen G. (Swirnialis) Enck, 87, died September 3, at the Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River. She was the wife of the late Robert D. Enck. Born in Stoughton, she was a graduate of Stoughton Schools and a resident of Stoughton for many years. She has been a resident of Wareham for several years. Mrs. Enck worked as a telephone operator for New England Telephone for many years, retiring in 1984. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers, the Stoughton Council on Aging and the Stoughton Historical Society. In her free time, she enjoyed bowling, golf, traveling and puzzles.

She is survived by her children, Joanne F. Nickerson of Brockton and Robert D. Enck Jr. of Freetown. She was the grandmother of Tracey Bryde, Renee Enck and Robert D. Enck, III. She was the sister of the late Francis Swirnialis and Isabel Pukelis. She is also survived by 2 great grandchildren.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., Stoughton, on Thursday, September 8 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM.
