Helen M. (Willis) Crimmins, 87, died Friday, July 23, 2010 at her home. She was the wife of the late Francis T. "Mike" Crimmins. Born in Stoughton, she was a lifelong resident of Stoughton and a graduate of Stoughton Schools. In addition to being a dedicated mother and homemaker, Mrs. Crimmins worked with her husband as an office manager for Crimmins Real Estate and Insurance, in Stoughton. She was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church and a member of the Mass. Catholic Women's Guild. Mrs. Crimmins was a former trustee of the Cardinal Cushing Hospital in Brockton and a member of the Stoughton Historical Society. She had a keen interest in local politics and in her free time, she enjoyed baking and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children: Sr. Michael of Christ the King, O.C.D. of the Discalced Carmelite Monastery in Danvers, Michael J. Crimmins and his companion Karen Morley, Kathleen M. Swanson and her husband Richard J. Swanson, Francis T. Crimmins, Jr. and his wife Joanne and Barry R. Crimmins and his wife Janet all of Stoughton. She was the sister of Rita E. Kelley of Stoughton. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Tuesday, July 27 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Monday 4-8 PM. Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to Old Colony Hospice, 1 Credit Union Way, Randolph, 02368 or to the Discalced Carmelite Monastery, 15 Mt. Carmel Rd., Danvers, MA 01923.
