Hazel A. Christmann

Hazel A. (MacCombie) Christmann, 88, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died at Copley at Stoughton on Saturday, June 26. She was the wife of the late Henry W. Christmann. Born in Hyde Park, she was educated in Stoughton schools. She was a resident of Stoughton for 47 years before moving to Vermont in 1967. She returned to Stoughton in 2000. Mrs. Christmann was a homemaker. She also owned Blue Mountain Photography in Groton, VT for many years with her husband. She was active at the First Baptist Church in Groton. In her free time she enjoyed gardening and painting.
Mrs. Christmann is survived by her children, Jean E. Fernandez and her husband John of FL, Robert H. Christmann and his wife Claudia of Northfield and Nancy E. Christmann of S. Easton. She was the sister of Roberta Porter of Plymouth, Harold MacCombie of Shrewsbury and the late Evelyn Shields. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her son, Mark J. Christmann and a great-grandson.
Funeral Service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Saturday, July 3 at 10 AM. Visiting Hours omitted. Burial will be private. Donations in Hazel's name may be made to the First Congregational Church, 76 Pierce St., Stoughton, MA 02072.
