Guy Rossi, 93, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died Thursday, October 1, 2015 at the Madonna Manor Nursing Home in North Attleboro. He was the husband of the late Josephine (Pietro) Rossi. Born in Braintree, he was raised and educated in Braintree and was a graduate of Braintree Schools. Mr. Rossi was a proud Veteran of the US Army and US Navy. He worked as a Farmer at the Bartol Old Farm Estate in Milton for over 60 years. He retired several years ago. He was a member of the VFW in Dedham, the Sunset Bocce Club in Readville and was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans. He was an accomplished mechanic who, in his free time, enjoyed cooking and gardening his flowers and vegetables.
He is survived by his children; John G. Rossi of Easton, Carl R. Rossi of Sharon and Joanne Rossi of Plainville. He was predeceased by 8 brothers and sisters and is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Funeral Prayers will be offered in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday, October 6 at 11 AM. Visiting Hours Monday from 4-7 PM. Interment will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
