Gregory F. Rollins, 75, died November 9, 2024, at the St. Luke’s Hospital in Fall River. Born in Stoughton, he was raised and educated in Easton and was a 1967 graduate of Oliver Ames High School. Gregory was a resident of Wareham for the past 20 years, previously spending over 20 years in Whitman. He worked as a long haul truck driver for P & G Leasing, a company he owned with his former wife and business partner Pattie Rollins Wayne. He also worked for Foxboro Express. After retiring in 2009, he returned to work at VHS Transportation in Easton, where he built lasting relationships with his clients and enjoyed their daily interactions. Gregory enjoyed spending time with his friends at Buddy’s Union Villa in Easton and at the Gateway and the River Junction in Wareham and playing Texas Hold Em at the Fan Club in Wareham. In his free time, he enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy and spending time with his family.

Gregory is survived by his former wife and close friend Pattie (Dooley) Rollins Wayne and her late husband David Wayne of Wareham, with whom he lived with for many years. He was the grandfather of Declan Rollins and Ryan Rollins and their mother Lauren Daniels of Norwood. He was the brother of Pamela Desautel, Andrea Poole, Karen Varney, Ginger Megna and the late Billy Rollins. Gregory is survived by several friends including his friend of 50 years, David Payne of Abington with whom he spoke to every day before watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy, Lisa Linhares and Harry Downing, both of Wareham and Jim Craig of Fairhaven. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and his son Philip Rollins.

Private family services were held. Donations in Gregory’s memory may be made to the MSPCA, 350 S. Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02130.
