Grace I. (Gilchrist) McCann

Grace I. (Gilchrist) McCann, a resident of North Easton, born August 19th 1945, passed away peacefully on May 28th while visiting family in Mississippi. She was the wife of the late Wallace F. McCann. She is survived by her loving children, Keith MacDonald and his wife, Amanda, of Ocala, FL, Kathlyne (MacDonald) McDermott of Gulfport, MS, Kris MacDonald and his partner, John MacDougall, of Quincy, MA and her grandchildren Richard MacDonald, Andrea MacDonald, Kenny Dial, Daniel Thibault, Jonathan Thibault, Jacquelyne McDermott, soon to arrive great granddaughter Hazel, her dog Sophie, siblings Doris, Wendell, Kenneth and Tracey and many loved ones. She will be remembered for her kind, caring character and a willingness to always help others. Known as "Granny Girl" to many, she enjoyed tending her garden, and spending time with close friends.

Visiting Hours will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Saturday, June 10 from 10-11:30 AM followed by Funeral Prayers at 11:30 AM then a Celebration of Life for close family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations in Grace's memory may be made to the Easton Food Pantry, 136 Elm St., N. Easton, MA 02356.
