Grace E. Mann

Grace E. Mann, 72, a longtime resident of Brockton, died unexpectedly at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston on Wednesday, December 5. Daughter of Alfred W. Mann and Lorraine Walraven of Stoughton, both deceased. She was born in Boston and raised in Milton and Mattapan before moving to Stoughton. She was a graduate of Stoughton High School and received an advanced college degree. Grace worked for Cambridge Cares for AIDS and recently retired from the Department of Public Health, Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Grace was the sister of Mary Louise Mann of San Francisco, CA, Elaine C. Rapp of Seabrook, NH, Heidi Powers of Hanson, Louise Mann and Joyce Treml both of WI and the late Philip H. Mann of Stoughton. She is also survived by 5 nephews, 1 niece and several cousins.

Cremation took place and there will be a small gathering of family and friends who would like to share memories of Grace at the Knights of Columbus hall on Friday, December 14th from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm at 1195 Bedford Street, (Route 18) in Whitman.
