Gloria Batchelor

Gloria M. (Jasmin) Batchelor, 89, died Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at the New England Sinai Hospital after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Warren A. Batchelor. Born in Hyde Park, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Desrosiers) Jasmin. She was educated in Stoughton schools and was a longtime resident of Stoughton. Mrs. Batchelor enjoyed knitting, crocheting, cooking, taking care of her cats (especially Teddy) and vacationing in Rockport and Scituate.

Mrs. Batchelor was the sister of the late Raymond Jasmin, the late Arthur Jasmin, and the late Helen Jasmin. She is survived by her five nieces and nephews Richard Jasmin of Stoughton, Barbara Jasmin of Mattapoisett, Donald Jasmin of Bridgewater, Denise Jasmin Lezynski of Centerville, and Claudia Jasmin of Stoughton. She was also the aunt of the late Robert Jasmin and is survived by numerous great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday at 11 AM. Visiting Hours from 10-11AM prior to service. In lieu of flowers donations in Gloria's memory may be made to the Lupus Foundation, 40 Speen St., Suite 205, Framingham, MA 01701.
