Gerry B. Shedin

Gerry B. Shedin, Jr., 48, a lifelong resident of Stoughton, died unexpectedly in Stoughton on Wednesday, April 20. He was the loving son of Gerry B. and Susann Kay (Larson) Shedin of Stoughton. Born in Stoneham, he was raised and educated in Stoughton. Mr. Shedin was the owner of Four Seasons Chimney Sweep in Stoughton for 15 years. He was a member of the National Chimney Sweep Guild.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Shedin was the devoted father of Shayla Rose and Brenna Hope Shedin both of Stoughton. He was the cherished brother of Deborah Sue Veliotis and her husband Christopher of Berkley. He was the loving uncle of Amanda Nicole and Thomas C. Veliotis. He was the beloved grandson of the late Katherine F. Larson and Bert and Hope Shedin. He was the former husband of Laura Ann (Brennan) Shedin of Stoughton.
Visiting Hours will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Wednesday, April 27 from 4-7 PM. Funeral Service and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gerry's Memory may be made to the Shedin Children Scholarship Fund, c/o Rockland Trust, 608 Washington St., Stoughton, MA 02072.
