Gerard F. Ebbs, 53, died Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at his home in Sharon, after a courageous 3-year battle with cancer. Known as “Jerry” or “G” to friends, he was born and raised in Stoughton, son of the late Willam and Jeanne (Allen) Ebbs and was a graduate of Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School in Easton, Class of 1988. In June of 2000, he married Tammy L. Dumaine and together they shared over 22 years of marriage and raised their young son Declan. He was a resident of Sharon for over 12 years. Jerry was a longtime employee of Myers Tire Supply in Braintree before becoming a Customer Service Sales Associate at Forshaw in Norwood in 2019. He was a devoted family man and cherished his time surrounded by his extended family and his friends. Jerry was a fan of the Bruins and Patriots and enjoyed spending time outdoors and hiking in Lincoln, NH. In his free time, he enjoyed cooking, singing off key, reading Stephen King novels and playing board games and cards with his son Declan.
Jerry is survived by his wife Tammy L. (Dumaine) Ebbs and his son Declan J. Ebbs, both of Sharon. He was the brother of Paula L’Heureux of CT and Deborah Bigelow and William E. Ebbs, Jr., both of Arizona. He was the beloved “Uncle G” of several nieces and nephews.
