Geraldine A. (Brady) Machin

Geraldine A. (Brady) Machin, 90, died Saturday, November 2, 2019, at her home in Stoughton, after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Edwin "John" Machin. Born in Boston, she was raised and educated in Hyde Park and was a longtime resident of Hyde Park. She became a full time resident of South Yarmouth after her retirement. Mrs. Machin moved to Stoughton two years ago to be closer to her family. She worked for the Sears Roebuck Company as a Credit Manager in their Boston and Braintree stores for many years, retiring at age 62. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, and spending time with her friends and family.

Mrs. Machin was the devoted and beloved aunt of Alice Eppenstein and her husband Jack of Stoughton. She was the great aunt of Kelsey, Victoria and John Eppenstein. She was predeceased by her sister Marjorie McAvoy.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the St. James Church, 560 Page St., Stoughton on Wednesday at 11:30 AM. Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rte. 27) Stoughton prior to the Mass from 10-11 AM. Interment will take place at Forest Hills Cemetery, Boston.
