George C. Tingus, 77, died Friday June 26, 2020, at his home, after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's Disease. Born in Boston, he was raised and educated in Milton and was a graduate of both Milton High School and Suffolk University. Mr. Tingus was a resident of Canton for over 35 years, previously living in Stoughton for many years. He was the Co-Owner and Sales Manager for Avon Tape in Avon for many years, retiring several years ago. In his free time, he enjoyed oil painting, working in his yard and spending time with friends and family.
Mr. Tingus is survived by his children; Alexander Tingus of Canton and Jennifer M. Quinn and her husband Victor Bailey of Bridgewater. He was the grandfather of Keith R. Tingus and the brother of Christopher Tingus of Sharon.
Graveside Services will be held in the Forest Hills Cemetery, 95 Forest Hills Ave., Boston on Monday, July 6, 2020 at 10AM. Visiting Hours Omitted. Arrangements by Farley Funeral Home.
