George J. Lepro, 77, died Friday, February 13, 2015, at his home after a period of failing health. He was the husband of 53 years of Catherine A. (Cain) Lepro. Born in Norwood, he was a lifelong resident of Stoughton and attended Stoughton Schools. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Lepro worked as a salesman for Sentry Insurance for many years. He also worked in auto sales for Avon Auto Brokers and for Boch Motors. He was a sports lover and was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox. Mr. Lepro was also a lover of baseball and was a longtime coach of the White Sox in Stoughton Little League. He was a kind and generous man who bought warm jackets for the needy every Christmas and enjoyed traveling to Canada. He was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church. Above all, he loved spending time with his family and his granddaughter.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Rejeanne M. Lepro of Stoughton and Craig J. Lepro, Sgt. Det. Hull PD and his wife Desrae of Easton. He was the beloved grandfather of Gianna Lepro. He is also survived by his sister Joan Lepro of Stoughton.
Funeral Prayers will be offered in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday, February 20 at 8 PM. Visiting Hours prior to the prayers from 5-8 PM. A Memorial Mass will be held May 16th 2015, 10:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church in Stoughton.
