George F. Holliday

George F. Holliday, 80, died Friday, October 26 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton after a short illness. He was the husband of the late Katie (Cameron) Holliday. Born in Medford, he was raised and educated in Stoughton. He was a Veteran of the US Army and served in the Korean Conflict. Mr. Holliday worked as a truck driver for several area companies, including Caradonna's, Bird Shingle Company and the Corcoran Shoe Company. He retired many years ago. In his free time, he enjoyed reading and photography.

He was the brother of Audrey Osborn of Brockton and the late Diane Fisher. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Private family services were held. Donations in George's memory may be made to the Joslin Diabetes Clinic, 1 Joslin Place, Boston, MA 02115. Arrangements by Farley Funeral Home, Stoughton.
