Frederick W. Dowgos

Frederick W. Dowgos, III, a resident of Brockton, died unexpectedly and too soon on Thursday, September 17, 2015. Son of Robert J. Rocha of Randolph and the late Lucie (Marin) Rocha and Frederick W. Dowgos, Jr., he was born in France and raised and educated in Stoughton. He lived in Brockton since 1996. Fred was a talented athlete who especially enjoyed playing hockey and softball. He was an avid Boston sports fan.

Fred is survived by his daughter, Alyssa B. Dowgos of Brockton and his siblings, Ron Dowgos of Brockton, John P. Dowgos of Delaware, Lisa M. Williams of Auburn and Rob Rocha, Jr. of North Carolina. He is also survived by his former wife, Candace A. (Sherman) Dowgos of Brockton, as well as 4 nephews, 3 nieces, a great-niece, many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral Prayers will be offered in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday, October 5 at 7 PM. Visiting Hours prior from 4-7 PM. Interment will be private. Fred's family requests in lieu of sending flowers to please cherish time spent with your family.
