Fred M. Campbell, 68, died at Life Care Center of West Bridgewater on Thursday, February 26 after a brief illness. He was the husband of the late Sheila M. (Moss) Campbell. Son of the late James W. and Daisy E. (Ogg) Campbell, he was born in Boston and educated in Milton schools and Thayer Academy. Mr. Campbell was owner and machinist at Camco Manufacturing in Stoughton for over 15 years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, sports and spending time with his family and friends.
Mr. Campbell is survived by his children, James W. Campbell, II, Stoughton FD and his wife Nancy of Avon, Fred M. Campbell, Jr. and Chad J. Campbell both of Stoughton as well as his granddaughter, Mya. He was the brother of the late Duncan R. Campbell. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Prayers will be offered from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Thursday, March 5 at 8 PM. Visiting Hours prior from 5-8 PM. Burial will be private. Donations in Fred's name may be made to American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
