Frank Stemen, a long-time Stoughton resident died Thursday evening at home surrounded by family and friends. He was 84.
Mr. Stemen was born and raised in Elida, Ohio, the son of the late Ervin and the late Geraldine (Lease) Stemen. After his service during World War II, Frank settled in Boston and married Pauline LaBella. Frank had a long and productive career as a manager in the textile industry, working with several firms before his retirement. A resident of Stoughton for 45 years, Frank enjoyed the company of his family and many dear friends.
His beloved wife, Pauline (LaBella) Stemen, died in 2004. He leaves his sister Emma McElroy of Ohio and many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Monday, November 20 from 4 thru 8pm at the Farley Funeral Home at 358 Park St., Stoughton (Rt. 27) or at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford Tuesday morning, November 21 from 8 to 9:30.
A Funeral Mass will be offered in St. Clement Church, Medford, Tuesday Morning at 10, with the Reverend Dennis Dever, presiding. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
