Francis X. Noe, 66, a lifelong resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at home on Sunday, March 29, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Sandra M. (Polillio) Noe. Born in Boston, he was the son of Marguerite J. (Keilty) Noe of Stoughton and the late Vincent F. Noe. Frank was a graduate of Brockton Trade School, Class of 1967. He was a Corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a Veteran of the Vietnam War. He received both the Purple Heart and the Navy Achievement Medal with Combat "V" for his heroic actions in Vietnam. Mr. Noe was a firefighter with the Stoughton Fire Department for 28 years before retiring in 2009. He was a member of the VFW Post 1645 and the American Legion Post 89 both in Stoughton. He enjoyed running, hunting and spending time with his dog, Zoe, but his most cherished time was spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and his mother, Frank is survived by his children, Tara M. Schwenzfeier and her husband Brett of Stoughton and Vincent F. Noe, Mass. SP and his wife Meghan of Wakefield, as well as his grandchildren, Ava, Noah, Siena, Isabelle and Vincent, Jr. He was the brother of Joanne E. "Penny" Kurdeka of Vermont, Vincent F. "Buddy" Noe, Jr., Marguerite J. "Peggy" Noe, Thomas G. Noe and Paul S. "Scott" Noe all of Stoughton, John P. "Jack" Noe of Easton and the late Patricia K. Dykeman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday, April 1 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday from 3-7 PM. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton. In lieu of flowers, donations in Frank's memory may be sent to Redemptoris Mater Archdiocesan Missionary Seminary, 774 Boylston St., Chestnut Hill, MA 02467.
