Frances A. Rose

Frances A. (Higgins) Rose, of Canton died at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth on Monday, October 20, 2008 at age 92. Born in Chelsea, MA she previously lived in Oregon before settling in Canton for many years. Frances worked and retired from the Foxboro Company in West Bridgewater. Frances always took pride in her flower gardens in Canton and at her winter home in Clearwater, FL. She was a fond lover of dancing "the Dancing Queen" with her dear friend the late Fred A. Yarro. She enjoyed many evenings at Mosley's on the Charles in Dedham with her circle of friends. Frances was always ready to attend a family gathering. She will truly be missed by her family and friends.

Beloved daughter of the late Nathan and Frances Higgins, she was predeceased by her daughter Nancy Maxwell. She was the dear Nana of Monica Maxwell of California. She was the dear sister of Alma O'Keefe of Canton, John "Jack" Higgins of Stoneham, Joan Krupa of AZ, formerly of Norwell and the late Donald Higgins of Florida and is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was the dear mother-in-law of Neal Maxwell of FL.

Her funeral will be from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park Street, Stoughton, MA, on Saturday, October 25, service at 10:00 am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are on Saturday from 9:00 to 10:00 am before the service. Burial is in the Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.
