Frances M. McMullin, 80, a longtime resident of Brockton, died at Braemoor Nursing and Rehab. Center in Brockton on Wednesday, March 9. Daughter of the late Henry J. and Margaret F. (Cosgrove) McMullin, she was born and raised in Dorchester. She was educated in St. Margaret's School and Msgr. Ryan Memorial High School. Miss McMullin was a resident of Brockton for over 35 years after living in Whitman for 9 years. She was a credit manager at Ben Elfman Co. in Boston and Chelsea for 33 years before retiring in 1986.
Miss McMullin is survived by her sister, Shirley A. Lynch and her husband Walter E., Sr. of Uxbridge, as well as her nieces, Karen F. Barrett and her husband Kevin of Hopedale and Robin M. Scanlon and her husband Patrick of Uxbridge and a nephew, Walter E. Lynch, Jr. of Wareham. She is also survived by 4 grand-nieces, Kelley and Emily Barrett and Susan and Theresa Scanlon.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Monday, March 14 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Sunday from 2-5 PM. Burial will take place at New Calvary Cemetery, Boston.
